Moxie Books: There have been four books written about Moxie and the history of Moxie. One by Q. David Bowers and three by Frank N. Potter. Q. David Bowers wrote "The Moxie Encyclopedia". There were 4,000 copies released in two printings, in 1985 and 1986. (Vestal Press Ltd. ISBN: 0911572-43-0) Frank N. Potter wrote "The Moxie Mystique". Unknown number of copies. Printing in 1981. (The Donning Company Publishers. ISBN: 0-89865-164-6) Frank N. Potter second book, wrote "The Book Of Moxie". Unknown number of copies. Printing in 1987. (Collector Books, A Division of Schroeder Publishing Co., Inc. ISBN: 0-89145-348-2) Frank N. Potter short addendum, 44 page book, wrote "Orville Purdy talks about MOXIE". Unknow number of copies. Printing in 1999. Joseph A. Veilleux, wrote "Moxie, since 1884 ... an acquired taste" A collectible bible Vol 1, Printing June 2003, 8 1/2 x 11", 236 pages, 1,129 graphics. New Release, unknown number of copies. CD-Rom version also available. (1st Book Publisher. ISBN: 1-4107-3649-0) Gyvel Young - Witzel & Michael Karl Witzel wrote the Book "Soda Pop! From Miracle Medicine to Pop Culture". Many sodas are mentioned. They have a 4 1/2 page synopsis of the History of Moxie. Very detailed short version. Very well done. Can be ordered at amazon.com. |
